Appointment of Senior Assistant Director/Assistant Director in the Housing and Safer Communities Directorate at the Royal Borough of Greenwich

Dear Candidate

Thank you for your interest in the post of Senior Assistant Director/Assistant Director in the Housing and Safer Communities Directorate at the Royal Borough of Greenwich.

The Directorate was established last year to re-establish the Council’s focus on housing and the landlord service, and to create the considerable synergies across community safety and environmental health. Our agenda is ambitious and exciting. With 26,000 tenants and leaseholders, we have the scale and opportunity to be a council landlord that has great services for customers, is productive and efficient, and is integrated within the council to support people when they need it. All our services help people to live safely in Greenwich, whether that be the physical safety of people’s homes, protecting the public from rogue traders, or the wider work with the Police to keep our streets and estates as safe places to live and work...

You can read the full welcome note from Jamie Carswell, Director of Housing and Safer Communities here.
